Albizia

Albizia (Paraserianthes lophantha)

Albizia is a slender, upright shrub or small tree 1-10 m tall.  It likes moisture and is found along rivers and streams and in wetlands, where it is fast growing and can form thickets.  Like wattle, it bears seed pods. Flowers occur in late winter and early spring.  It was once included in the Albizia genus, hence its common name.
