Woollybush

Common Woollybush (Adenanthos cygnorum)

Woollybush is found on the eastern side of the coastal plain, growing up to 4 m tall.  It is densely covered in overlapping leaves, which are comprised of linear segments.  They are covered in hairs and are soft to the touch.  Small flowers are produced over most of the year.  They are usually solitary and hidden amongst the foliage.
